Florence, Italy

Florence, home of sculpture
Marble everywhere you go
Synonymous with Michaelangelo

In a building, on the square
Shepherd David, stautesque
Standing naked, picturesque

Street markets block after block
Crafted wares from everywhere
Sellers beckoning from here and there

The Domino Cathedral where color abounds
The sacred and profane stand side by side
Aim your camera take another slide

Around my waist a black belt
From Forence's open markets
Tourists their main targets

Antiquity and the postmodern
Especially of  many sculptures renown!
