Everything is Going Down Hill

Everything is going down hill
It is like taking an enormous pill

Everything is sticking in your throat
Even your stomach wants to bloat

Everything is going wrong
Can't seem even to come up with a song

Then is the time to rest in the Lord
Take a nap, pull the cord

Thank Him for the good that has come your way
There will come a far pleasanter day

There will come a far pleasanter day

Everything is Going Down Hill (c)2002 Quentin Clingerman
