Philosophy May Have Its Place

Philosophers abound who by thought

Would answer life's meaning, life's troubles

They fall far short, sometimes totally missing the mark

Man's wisdom at its best is "foolishness to God"

Pick up the Bible, God's wisdom revealed

It tells it like it is, no rationalization

Revelation that lets us know where we stand

In this unending universe

Philosophy may have its place

But not when dealing with Eternity

Only God Himself can reveal that

In His Word and by answering godly faith

Let not a Plato, Hegel, or Darwin lead you astray

Look to God in prayer and the reading of His Word

That is more than enough to guide us in the Way

God's Word is the ultimate Truth, the only Eternal Truth

All else witl pass away

Will definitely pass away
