Here, There and Back Again

It is always fun to go away
Near or far or for many a day
But it is just as fun to return home
From near or far where we did roam

The familiar may not be as exciting
As exotic places we have been
But it is just as satisfying
To settle once more among ones kin

Thus a toast to travel
Here, there and back again
Howbeit let none really marvel
We're glad all is back where it has lain!

Here, There and Back Again (c) 2001 Quentin Clingerman
