Way Up Yonder

I heard a bird telling me
Singing the sweetest melody
Way up yonder in the old oak tree
Spread your wings fly with Jesus loving free

Be yourself and to God be true
Don't worry the Father is in love with you
God is in your soul to have and hold
Always holding your hand while you grow old

Be yourself stay close in His Word
Winds are going to blow and shake this tree
Only listen to His sweetest melodies
Drifting spiritually says the littlest bird

Way up yonder in the old oak tree
Spread wings will fly spiritually
Soaring only to His sweetest melodies
Freely flying just me and my King
