God’s Warmth
The golden sunflower Had many brown specks Upon its wilted downcast face Turn, little sunflower, turn Embrace God’s love, feel His warmth Become God’s unique flower, turn But tiny sunflower refused at first The brown specks rapidly blew In the cruel breeze of death The eye did blink, years gone The wilted sunflower began to turn Longingly to feel golden, once more God’s warmth appeared as a Cross The many brown specks carried away The sunflower turned golden that day |
