Childish Endeavors
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Blue eyes aglow with childish endeavors
Milk is the sweetest to grow
The true heart and soul is yet to know
The earthly vessel must be broken to show
Christ Jesus replaces childish endeavors
Born from God's Word to mature
Blue eyes aglow with Christly endeavors
Sharing God's Spirit of love to show
Heart and soul needs more than sweet milk to grow
God's pot must be broken to know
Childish endeavors must go
God's Word nurtures sweetest to show
Christly endeavors aglow
Blue eyes listen and learn
Childish endeavors will burn
