When the Spirit Exhales
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

As His Spirit exhales
Throughout my soul
Beautiful words
Begin to flow
All about His home
For you, for me
Awaiting us in eternity
Although His roads
Might seem so long
With many winding
Bending turns
Actually its short
In comparison
With the everlasting life
You'll receive in eternity
For chosen followers
Like you and me
Holy Spirit exhaling
Throughout my soul
My spirit inhales
Out flows words
Eternal dreams
For chosen ones
