A Lowly Being
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

When I'm at my lowest
God is at the highest
Praises for this day He gave
Joy for this soul He made
Listens the little ear inside my soul
God alone is in control
My lowest makes me whole
I'll reach out my hand invisible
Glory for God understands acceptable
Make me pleasing for Your sight
Cover me with Your wings that give me light
This lowly being has no might
God is the highest victory for the fight
A longing soul that's lowly
Praises for God alone who's Holy
Sings with joy for this day
