Joy's River
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

The river of the purest joy
Can only lead a soul to one place
Flowing through life to see Jesus' face
The river is rough rapids abound
Before you get to life's source
Joy's river is His blood on sacred ground
His Cross gleams pure love convicting all sin
Joy rips through the heart while God builds again
Destroying self, joining His Spiritual realm
The purest joy guides once He's at the helm
Jesus is the beginning and the ending
Joy's river, life's source, eternity found
