Duty Is Done
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

The hill tops and the mountains high
Speak for God while touching His sky
As touching the sky it screams out too
God made it all His creation is true
All the stars large and small
Speak for God the Creator of all
In the nighttime sky they glow and flow
Twinkling bright telling you so
Mankind and animals all over His earth
Work just perfectly from their birth
Cells and functions duty is done
Speak for God who makes them run
Just like needed from birth to death
Mankind has a choice for eternal life
Trust in God and meet His Christ
Jesus speaks God's song of love that's true
Giving His Blood sacrificed just for you
Speaking God's love from Heaven tried and true
Twinkling up in Heaven can't you see Him there
Jesus our Saviour really loves and cares
When mankind chooses to helplessly run
To His Cross God's duty is done
