Soulful Bird
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

A little bird seems tapping
Let Him in, let Him in
Look up toward Heaven
There is Jesus Christ the Lord
Let Him in, let Him in
What weary souls are longing for
Let Him in, let Him in
The only way through Heaven's door
Stop the tapping hear the Word
Seems to say the soulful bird
God's truthful Morning Star
Let Him in, let Him in
God's only begotten Son
Let Him in, let Him in
Your soul is knocking at His door
Let Him in, let Him in
What are you waiting for
Taps from Heaven soulful bird
Jesus is God's Truth and Word
