Whispering Waves
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Are you a lighthouse for the Lord
A beacon shining toward His door
Solid, firm against the rushing waves of time
His promises echoing you are mine
A rainbow's halo reflects from your pane
Holding to His Word which remains unchanged
Your mountain top is known as tried and true
The significant rainbow evokes depth in you
Your beacon is bright upon earth's shore
Though your soul is pining for Heaven's door
Shine forever God's lighthouse fine
Whispering waves say you are mine
God holds Heaven throughout all time
