A Blue Ridge Soul
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Heavenly bells were ringing
In this blue ridge soul of mine
Mountain ridge blue glisten
As the sun begins to rise
God in all His greatness
Kissed mountain tops blue
How wonderful to know
God kissed this soul too
Heavenly bells still ring
In this blue ridge soul of mine
Imagination sparks this side of Heaven
How spectacular will the divine place be
This kissed by God soul can't wait to see
A blue ridge soul climbing to eternity
Climbing every mountain where God's bells ring
Glistening with love while the soul sings
Where God's Son Jesus always shines
Just as the Son began to rise
In this blue ridge soul of mine
