Wingless

Wingless

As I draw close to God
He lets me know
I can have my dream
To fly without wings
A wingless flight indeed
It's a spiritual thing
When my soul’s feeling down
And I need a lift off the ground
It's a wingless flight I take
My feet still touching earth
An endless spiritual soar
Closer I draw to God
Wingless although I appear
The vision of His Spirit endears
Drawing me ever so near
Through this wingless flight
I'm an amazing flying machine
Wingless flight of my dream
Flying toward Heaven
Look! no wings
