The Grace That Saves
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

There is nothing I can ever do
That will save myself from sin's disgrace
Jesus' Cross at Calvary
Shines God's grace on everybody
The grace that saves from sin's disgrace
Jesus' blood wipes shame from many faces
The price He paid so long ago
Still cleanses sin sets eyes aglow
God's grace that saves still lives today
You can never save yourself
No matter how hard you may try
Jesus took care of that a long time ago
Sin was blocking every pathway
Jesus' Cross broke through the darkness
Shines God's light to the dark areas
Opens the heart for the grace that saves
Christ Jesus is the only way
To save the soul from sin's disgrace
Jesus paid the price long ago
With His blood sweet freedom glows
Look to Calvary to make you whole
