Be Gone Veil
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Glistening drops of water spots
Sits upon the tops of lilac's purple bloom
Beauty that is seen inspires many words
Where the beauty of God's love stirs mute
Perfect words with expression to impute
Reminiscent remedy as the veil was torn in two
Be gone veil Jesus' dying voice yelled
Glistening drops of blood spots
Sits upon the tops of Christ's righteous hands
God's perfect love by Holy blood be gone veil
Enter in God's pure love prevails
The remedy was death it seems and Jesus' Holy blood
In the presence of God we stand be gone veil
Depending on God's dear Son in Jesus name we yell
