Stolen Heart
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Something stole a heart of gold
Turned it into a heart of scold
Bitterness formed it oh so cold
Gone was the beautiful heart of gold
Jesus knew this beautiful heart
Longing to His love impart
Deep inside this stolen heart
Renew it to His heart of gold
Grabbing it within His strongest hold
Shaping, forming, into His mold
Loosened the grip
On the stolen heart of gold
Replaced it with His heart of love
Heart beating steadily His purest gold
Beating within Jesus' mighty hold
