Heaven Sent
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

My shadow and myself
Everywhere I went
Afraid to trust someone
Could be Heaven sent
Until I trusted God
Belonged to His family above
His shadow covers me
Truly Heaven sent
No fear of anyone
Or being who I was meant
His shadow follows me
Truly Heaven sent
Everywhere I'll go
Everywhere I went
His shadow lives in me
Just as It was meant
His shadow truly
Heaven sent
