His Caress
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

God's love is the breeze
That softly blows
Through my hair
Caresses my tepid skin
Erases worry lines of care
When the maddening world
Begins a tight squeeze
I step outdoors
Into His gentle breeze
He caresses my spirit
Sings a lullaby in my ear
I'm here for you darling
You're safe in My care
You'll feel Me in breezes
I sing sweet lullabies
In the wild bird's call
Reach out and touch Me
When the radiant leaves
Begin their beautiful fall
I'm everywhere
Just gaze around
I'm a touchable God
I caress you with snowflakes
Rest peacefully in My care
Connect with My Spirit
You'll never feel small
I'm the God of creation
I created it all
