The Soul's Honeycomb
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

The soul's honeycomb holes lie empty
Until nourished by God's written Word
Sweeter, sweeter, day by day, soon to overflow
Dripping life from the power of God's Word
Filled with God's glorious wisdom
For touching other honeycomb holes in the world
Nourish souls with God's wonder working Word

Nourish me Lord Jesus
With the power from God's Word
Fill me up completely, with soul honeycomb
That drips Your life from each written Word
For the God my soul serves is magnificent
Righteous beyond any of my words I speak or think
That's why I need the Bible, my soul's honeycomb
It tells about You Jesus, the Saviour of the world
