Reminiscent Wings
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

While following the trail
Of the tingling warm yellow butterfly
Reminiscent wings rustle the soul inside
As God reaches down from the Heavens above
Touches the soul with a whole lot of love
If you jump off a mountain, you can't fly
Without His reminiscent wings earned for getting by
Have I earned these elusive wings carrying through
A tingling awakens the trail before
Wind lifts the sweat drenched hair
While the warm yellow butterfly flies through the air
His love speaks keep soaring you're almost there
