Peaceful Water
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Merrily, heart set sail
Across the endless sea
Ports abound, harbors near
Traveling around
Tempest come
Waves can crush
Weight the spirit down
Weather clears
Son appears
Brightens up the way
Steers the boat through any storm
Parts the waves that clog the soul
Anchors thrown to another world
Peaceful waters found
