The Joy of Jesus

The Joy of Jesus

Jesus puts the J in joy
Joy to smile through many bleak miles
Joy to cry forgetting the why
Joy that lives with kindness that gives
Joy that lasts as grey hair besets
May God bless this day with peace and love
Bring the joy of Jesus down from above
All of my roses smell the sweetest
Like blessings from God are the neatest
God puts the L in love
Love brings joy from Jesus’ blood
