Heaven's Halo

Heaven’s Halo

Star gaze set sail for Heaven’s halo
I have strength, he said, I live for Christ Jesus
Heaven’s halo encompasses all imagination
As star gaze embarks on his destination
The earth is a forever round maze
Heaven’s halo as overseer of the trail blaze
God’s whispering wind blew through the wasted glaze
The port remains the same sighs weary star gaze
Heaven’s halo brightens the horizon as a gate
Star gaze finds contentment while he waits
The rocking chair of love rocks his soul through old age
The Holy Bible is his comfort as he reads page after page
