Mr. Nit-picker
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Mr. nit-picker picked me clean
Seeking power for the powerful
Power to destroy a peaceful scene
Mr. nit-picker quickly gallops away
For another location is coming his way
Petty as it seems out to ruin days
Power said the powerful loving every stay
Mr. nit-picker failed to notice
Christ Jesus is on this scene
Having already been picked clean
By the blood of the Righteous One
Power belongs to the powerful Lord
Makes this and everyday
Beautiful in every way
So goodbye mr. nit-picker
Hoping you have a blessed day
Surely you'll come for another stay
Farewell to your petty ways
