Renewing

When all is new in springtime,
With the flowering of the leaf,
We wonder why this world so new,
Can be so filled with grief.

Jonquils bloom abundantly,
And birdsong fills the air,
Renewing God's creation...
A loved one isnt there.
We walk the paths familiar,
Be they real or in our mind,
Questions we will answer...
Some answers never find.

Yet this season will remind us,
That renewing is God's way,
Though sun may set in evening,
It dawns another day.
And so it is with dying,
When our day is done,
We dawn in heavens glory,
In the light of the Son.
