Harvest Time

Harvest Time
(my church)

We're called "that church in the cornfield"
And we sure have been around!
Yet for all the moves we've had to make,
We've always held our ground.

Whether setting up and tearing down
And hauling in and out,
We've kept our sense of humor
And we knew without a doubt
That God would always find us,
Wherever we would be,
He'd always make a way for us
If we'd trust in the things we couldn't see.

Our growing pains were many,
And we've weathered every one.
We've shared a lot of heartfelt tears,
And we've also had some fun.

But, like the youth that's growing,
Leaving childhood behind,
We need to spread our wings and fly
Because it's truly harvest time.
