My Favorite Flower

My favorite flower is LILACS, their scent wafes in the air,
even in the darkness, you always know they're there.

But wait! let me tell you about another sight....
beds full of TULIPS...yes...they're my favorite.

Oh look at those daffodils! they usher in the spring,
I think it must be DAFFODILS that are my favorite thing!

Hmmmm....PEONY blooms are beautiful as in the wind they dance,
but get a little closer and they're hiding lots of ants.

Wait! it must be ROSES that I really like the best,
'cause roses usually stand for love more than all the rest.

But what about PETUNIAS...or MUMS...no, CREEPING PHLOX
no wait, it's the MORNING GLORIES in my window box!

SUNFLOWERS and GERANIUMS, LILIES and SWEET PEA,
Don't forget FORGET-ME-NOTS, SWEET WILLIAM and PANSY.

There's ORCHIDS so exotic and flowers I don't know,
but God made everyone of them because He loves us so!
