HOME ALONE

When I'm alone I whistle, mindless notes flow through the air;
from room to room, no more gloom
that may have settled there.

When I'm alone I dance a jig, I hope you never see.
I sing and strut...act like a nut,
let out the KID in me!

When I'm alone I talk alot, to mirrors, cats 'n such.
Hmmmm...conversation adaptation?
I'm really out of touch!

When I'm alone I'm just myself, stripped of all pretense.
Sometimes I cry...I don't know why,
but it needn't make much sense.

When I'm alone it feels so good, freedom to the bone.
let down my hair 'cause no one's there...
I'm ME when I'm alone.
