Such a friend! You took the time,
to send me picture, scripture,rhyme.
I know the effort you have spent,
the time it took for all you sent.

The clicking, reading, go 'back again'....
for something special to send your friend.
Not just one, but two or three...
and a poem you wrote (maybe just for me.)

Then the cares that weigh upon my heart
begin to crumble and fall apart,
because someone very far away
has cared enough to come and say,
"I care for you, you're not alone,
and today I lift you to God's throne.
In prayer for you, I'll share your load
and walk with you down that mercy road."

Once again through all my trials,
you lift my spirit and bring me smiles!
Even though you're many miles away,
I know that there will come a day,
whether here on earth or heaven above,
I'll hug you tight with a heart of love.
