Give the credit where the credit is due,
It belongs to God, who takes care of you.
He orders your footsteps, then follows along,
Just stay in His shadow, where you belong.
He'll guide you first this way,
then turn you another..just walk in His way
with His wings as your cover.

Each day is not filled with miraculous things,
Just ordinary living and the problems life brings.
And while you're looking for a miracle or two,
God is quietly doing the little things for you.
He brings you a friend when you're feeling real low
or a check in the mail He told someone to sow.

You'll find your lost keys and you'll fix a door,
and you'll catch that lamp BEFORE it hits the floor!
And when things go wrong--as they sometimes do,
He's just quietly there, taking care of you.
Whatever your day brings, be it hurried or slow,
God helps you out far more than you know.
He's there in the small things, daily working with you,
So let's give the credit where the credit is due!
