Please Be Happy...

Please be happy...dry your tears,
For I am done with painful years.

I write this poem so all will know...
There is a mansion where I will go.

For He prepared a place for me,
That where He is, I shall also be.

I've crossed that river, but not alone...
My Lord was there to take me home.

Mourn me not...for I am FREE!
And we'll soon be together...
You and me.

~bonnie badgley/david~

The date of this poem is unknown. I wrote it to be used at my funeral...and someday it will be, but I had it framed to use at my husband's funeral. It was a blessing to all of us who knew he wasn't dead...only promoted...and we'd see him again someday.
