Fix and Restore

How far is Jesus from me when I fall?
How high and how wide is that sinful wall?
How far can I go where Jesus can't see?
How far can I go 'til I'm no longer free?
How many times can I fix what is broken?
How many words have to be spoken?
How long does it take to be forgiven once more?
Just take it to Jesus, He'll fix and restore.

Jesus is as near as my beating heart,
And repentance will blow that wall apart.
There's nowhere to hide that Jesus can't see,
No sin will His blood not cover and free!
Whatever it takes to fix what is broken,
I'll do what Jesus has so often spoken,
I'll seek repentance and go on from there
As Jesus restores me with His loving care.
How long does it take to be forgiven once more?
Just take it to Jesus, He'll fix and restore.
