We Need to Pray for One Another!

We Need to Pray For One Another!

There are people,

 desperate for prayer,

Filled with hopelessness and despair!

When asked by someone,

 if I would pray…

I just couldn’t find the words to say.

The Holy Spirit began tugging

 at my heart within,

Convicting me of not

 praying once again.

Any excuses, God told me

I must first let go,

This was eating at my very soul!

My prayer life had been

 such a mess.

I soon repented, and confessed,

I called out to Jesus’

precious name

I invited him into my prayer life!

To rule and reign!

On bended knees before my Lord

 I began to bow,

My brother’s prayer was going

 to be answered…  Somehow!

The prayer request for my brother

  is going to be met.

 God has never

failed anyone YET!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
