Perlious Times Shall Come!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 2 times

Perilous times Shall Come!

In the last days, perilous times shall come!

Many shall refuse the

acceptance of Jesus... God's son.

Men shall be lovers of themselves,

 boastful and proud.

Disobedient to parents...

and an unthankful crowd.

Leaving natural affection, and false accusers alike,

Anyone that tries to do

what is good...they despite!

Lovers of pleasure, more than loving God above.

Having a form of Godliness,

but denying the power thereof.

Creeping into homes... and captivating

 women laden down with sin.

They lead them astray with a

tremendous bondage within.

Ever learning, but the knowledge  of truth, they can't retain.

They refuse or acknowledge,

the holiness of Jesus' name.

Evil men and seducers shall increase and get worse.

Deceiving many into a lie and an evil curse.

All you who live Godly lives...  Shall suffer just as Christ did.

Whatever others do, you must learn to forgive.

It's time for Christ' body to

wake up and begin to see.

Hard times are coming upon us... it's a reality!

It's time to rise up for Christ...

 and boldly take a stand.

Preaching the good news,

 to everyone across this land.

We must remember the

 words Christ had to say:.

"I'm coming back very soon..."

 And it could be TODAY!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
