Does Anyone Think about God?

Does Anyone Think About God?

Does anyone think about their heavenly father?

Or simply say... Talk to God?  Why bother?

Does anyone take the time to give thanks to God above?

Perhaps they’re “too busy” to give him their love?

Does anyone ever take just in a moment’s breath…

Thinking about God any time before their death?

Does anyone know that without God,

there is a “separation”

Is sin!  But he’s given to us his gift of salvation!

Does anyone take any of their time to see…

The plans that God has made for their eternity!

Does anyone give God any thanks or praise…

For the many things he’s done each of our days?

Is there anyone who’ll stand up and raise their voice?

And make Jesus their Lord…

Their first choice!

May this “someone” be you, as you read these words...

May a passion for Christ in your life be stirred!

May the words “Dear Jesus I invite you in,” be spoken…

And may your heart toward

God be tender and broken!

May you listen to HIS words

spoken and hear;

“I am always with you!”

 “You’ve no reason to fear!”

Christ is with you…

Even to the end of the age!

Will he put your name in the

 book of life’s page?

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
