Jesus and the Road to Heaven!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Jesus And the Road to Heaven!

There are many roads in life people shall find.

It’s all up to an individual’s choice of mind.

There’s many signs to say how to get there.

But many find out the road leads nowhere.

What’s the answer that many are looking for?

What is it in life that we’re truly meant for?

Many want to live and be really successful.

But too often, this can be rather stressful!

Others try to seek fame and fortune too.

Often not sure what else there is to do.

Whatever road you choose to journey on…

Is this a journey that you can depend on?

The road to destruction has good intentions

But listen for a minute, and pay attention!

There’s just one road in life that matters!

Remove yourself from the gossip and chatter!

This is a narrow road and few will find it!

Jesus invites all to come and humbly try it!

This road was bought by Jesus’ shed blood.

It was built from a heart of sacrifice and love!

It’s not an easy road.  You may trip and stumble.

At times you may complain and grumble.

This is the only road with a true necessity.

Of finding a home in heaven for eternity!

Will you come?  All of heaven anxiously waits!

For another one to enter heaven’s gates!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
