Let's Come before God with Thanks

Let’s Come Before God With Thanksgiving!

Let’s all come before God with hearts of thanksgiving!

Let’s honor him with our bodies in righteous living!

Let’s all come together, all across this nation…

And take the time to bless the God of creation!

May our lips sing his praises…  In one voice!

Let’s sing of the mercies of God!  And rejoice!

God is more than worthy of the praise we give him.

Let’s come before the Lord God and bow before him!

He rewards all of those who diligently seek him.

Let’s come to him now…  We really need him!

We worship his son Jesus…  The lamb who was slain!

Everything that we need, we can find in his name!

May living for Jesus be our passion and desire.

May he come and light us with a Holy Ghost’ fire!

He is the one whom can bring wholeness within…

And offers to cleanse us from darkness and sin!

Dear God, please listen to our cries and prayer…

We know that you listen...  And are always there!

You’re the reason that we can sing and trust you!

As we take this time to say how much we love you!

We thank you God!  Your ways are

 holy and blessed.

We know that living for you…

Is ALWAYS THE BEST!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
