Will You Spend Eternity With Jesus?

Will You Spend Eternity With Jesus?

We shall one day face
our mortality.
What we do one earth is
mere vanity.

What if we gain the world,
but lose our soul?
Where, in eternity, will be
our eternal soul?

We have a promise, through Christ’
redemption.
It’s only through Jesus,
with no exception.

We need to accept his salvation,
mercy and grace.
Let’s think about having a home
in a heaven’s place.

To heaven’s home, Jesus is the
narrow gate.
You have today, but tomorrow
may be too late.

Please accept God’s offer of life
that is eternal.
Make sure your name is written
in heaven’s journal!

It’s heaven o hell…
Which place will you be?
Will you be with Jesus,
for your eternity???

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
