Satan Goes as a Roaring Lion
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 2 times

Satan Goes as a “Roaring Lion…”

Satan goes about as a “roaring lion.”

 “Seeking whom he may devour.”

Be careful!  He could “ensnare”

you this very hour!

He knows our weaknesses.

Our “vulnerable points” within…

This is where so many of our

trials and heartaches begin!

He is sure up to the challenge.

He’s up to the task!

“How could this happen to me”

 You may wonder and ask…

He tempts you at your weakest point,

and then tries to pull you down…

He attempts to smash your life…

Right into the ground!

He tries to create havoc, confusion,

and much despair…

Trying to get you all alone…

And catching you “unaware…”

The only one who can overcome

Satan and his evil force…

Is the power of Jesus Christ.

He must daily be your source!

He alone can bring the victory!

 Satan is already defeated!

Christ can make you whole again!

With him, you’re COMPLETED!

His power, love, and wondrous grace

 is more than sufficient!

He’ll take away your every sin!

His blood is efficient!

Allow Christ to bring the victory

and make you whole today!

He will stop anything that Satan

may “throw your way!”

This “lion” will shut his mouth at the

mention of Jesus’ name!

With HIM on board.  Things will

never be the same!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
