Let's Tell Others of Jesus!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Let’s Tell Others Of Jesus!

I want to tell others of Jesus, but no one seems to care.

Jesus changed my life!  This is what I want to share!

I went to church last Sunday, and heard someone speak.

He said we should be a witness every day of the week!

But, when I tell others of my burden, they laugh and joke.

Many say, “I’m not interested.”  “This is for the old folks.”

What’s the point of following Christ, if I keep it inside?

He’s given me eternal life...  I’ve nothing to hide!

What’s the point of going to church, if God can’t use me?

For the work I want to do for Christ.  Others refuse me!

No matter how many think I’m crazy.  I’m going to do it!

I tried many times before, but simply “blew it.”

This joy and love God gave to me…  It can’t be contained!

What Christ has done for me...  I shouldn’t be ashamed!

Will you join me in demonstrating his love to others?

Let’s apply the verse; “love one another!”

The message of the cross of Christ shouldn’t be hidden!

We need to share with others, the power of being forgiven!

Let’s all come together and exalt the Lord on high!

Christ is our redeemer and Lord!  He is El-Shaddai!

Jesus, may you be honored, in what we do and say!

Help us as your followers,

to touch a life TODAY!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
