What Is It In Life That You Want?

What Is It You Want to Do In Life?

I’ve met many people with life’s ambitions…

This often includes making important decisions.

It seems like many are often confused

:”which direction to go…”

And yet striving for something

that “soothes the soul.”

Many have had “the rug pulled out

 from under their feet…”

And living with discouragement and defeat.

Are you one who has

 a frustration or a concern?

You may be wandering which

direction to turn?

I want to encourage you, to give it all,

 to Jesus this very moment!

All you’ll ever need is provided

by his blood’s atonement!

He brings eternal love and strength

to your life as well…

He loves you!  More than words can tell!

His sweet presence brings much needed

peace and refreshment…

His peace and love will bring

 true nourishment!

Why not give him a chance?  And start today???

Through the mountains of life,

he’ll make a way!

He’s here now!  And will always

 be your best friend!

With him in your life,  you’ll have hope within!

He is our God and provider.

And shall always satisfy!

He’s the river of living water!

                                                                 Your needs he’ll supply!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
