Am I Spending Time With God?

Am I Spending My Time With God?

The longer I live...  I think of

how short life is.

The older I get, the more

 I know God lives.

 The most important

truth that I know...

Is a savior who's brought health

 and salvation to my soul.

 I think about what's

 important to me...

The questions remains;

"where will I spend eternity?"

 Many I knew have

since passed away...

So I want to live for God

until my final day.

 I often think and

 begin to see....

I need more of Jesus,

and less of me!

The longer I live, it’s

evident and revealing...

The return of our Lord

and his glorious appearing!

The longer I live, is God's way

of giving me another chance...

To allow him to be Lord...

Over every circumstance!

The longer I live, is another day

to enjoy being forgiven...

Jesus is with me each day

 that I’m livin.'!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
