Won't You Believe God?

Won’t You Believe In God?

Do you believe God like you ought to?
Perhaps you did once, but forgot to?

Have you read his word?  Do you believe him?
Why not take the time to receive him?

He doesn’t have to be a memory in the past.
Why not turn to him, and simply ask?

You can ask for him to cleanse

and forgive you!
He offers the opportunity,

because he loves you!

The God who created both you and me.
Wants you to be with him for eternity!

Let’s bless the Lord God who reigns supreme!
Jesus is our righteousness!

 Our everything!

Let’s come before him

with our hearts broken.
And receive of the life that he’s spoken!

The life he gives is abundant

and overflowing.
This is the God that you

 can be knowing!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
