We're All Born Into Sin!

We’re All Born Into Sin!

We’re a product of an evil and sinful society.

Our lifestyle comes in many types of varieties.

There blows a wicked and sinful force..

As people forget God, and look to another source.

Too often, many in society have perverted minds.

Evil and sinful desires come in many kinds

We often read in the news just about every day.

Something that another “warped”

 mind has to say.

“Where did this person go wrong?”  Is wondered.

Another family or person is torn and plundered.

“If my people humble themselves,

 and repent of their ways.”

“I will heal their land!”  This is what God says!

Without God as the focus

 of our life’s attention.

We’re sure to go “off course,”

 and into the wrong direction.

“There is a way that seems right.”  “But the end is death.”

This is a truth of God’s word,

 until our last breath!

Jesus is the hope to a hopeless situation!

We need him so much!  All across this nation!

Only he brings eternal love and joy,

that can’t be contained!

We can find everything we need

 in HIS precious name!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
