Being Christ's Hands Extended..

Being Christ’s  Hands Extended…

I’ve given so much to people coming to my door.

I’ve had some return and asking for more.

During times of adversity, I gave from my heart.

Being part of Christ’ body, I was doing my part.

There were many travels that would lie ahead.

Another opportunity to give

a family some bread.

God blessed our family in so many ways.

I’m honored to give Jesus thanks and praise!

There were many times I wasn’t sure what to do.

I knew that somehow, my Lord

would come through.

There wasn’t a time when we didn’t food on the table.

God’s word told me he’s our provider and is able!

Being Christ’s hands extended taught me to give.

It taught me to honor God in the way I should live.

Walking humbly before Christ is an important thing.

A time to trust him to take care of everything!

He’s faithful and able to do more than I can ask.

He brought a peace and love that will always last!

I thank you my Lord for your

 grace and love divine!

I’m glad that I can call you

the best friend of mine!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
