How Can One Love... Yet Curse God??

How Can You Love God...  Yet Curse God???

I was walking beside a person

 just the other day...

I was busy talking with him as

 he went his own way.

All of a sudden.  He fell down

 and started to complain.

He became very angry.  He yelled out

 and cursed God's name...

 "How can you curse

the one you say you love?"

In this moment of pain...

 he blamed God above...

As he walked away.  I recall the look

 of anguish on his face.

I still couldn't believe what

 happened in this place.

When we endure pain, anguish

 and even turmoil.

We need to be careful,
not to let our anger "boil."

We need to recognize God.

And who he really is...

It's because of his mercy

that we breathe and live!

May his love wash us clean

 of all compaining and cursin.'

And his grace help us to be more

 of a Godly person.

During any "affliction."  God will

always make a way out.

This is what his character

 is all about!

Allow his son...  Jesus...

To calm your worries and fear.

Knowing that he's here to help...

 And is always near!

He knows the pain and frustrations

you may encounter.

His blood will help you to overcome...

 This very hour!

God remains faithful.  His promises

 will leave us never...

He's worthy of all praise...

Both NOW and FOREVER!!!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
