Revival...
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Revival...

There is something we
need to understand.
We need a Holy Ghost  revival
 throughout our land.

The sins of the flesh...
We must crucify.
As the presence of God comes
 to clean and purify.

May our hearts be broken
and spilled.
This is somehting that
our God has willed.

May we pray; "Not our will...
 But thine be done."
As together we seek
more
of God's son!

Though many sinful days
 we may have spent.
Right now is the time
 to truly repent
.

Let's not just seek revival
 as just a "story."
But seek God's holiness!
 His majesty and glory!

It's time we get out of our
daily "groove
."
And start to really let the
Holy Spirit MOVE!

As we allow Jesus to cleanse,
and make us clean.
Revival will be a reality...
 Not just a dream!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
