A Rustling Sound

A Rustling Sound

An earthen road where turns unfold

lies canopied in brilliant gold;

a gilded blanket covers ground...

and one can hear a rustling sound.

Bright iridescent leaves on trees

stir, animated in the breeze;

a part of Heaven here, I've found

amidst the season's rustling sound.

Into the woodland's heart, I go-

so glorious - the Autumn's flow;

where leafen miracles abound-

I harken to a rustling sound...
